Job Summary:

Reporting to the Head of Data, the Product Manager – 340b supports the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Inscript’s 340B product offerings. This role partners closely with engineering, data analytics, pharmacy operations, compliance, and external stakeholders to define product requirements, translate business and regulatory needs into product features, and ensure successful product delivery and adoption. The Product Manager assists with complex pharmacy-related product initiatives, ensures alignment with regulatory requirements, and helps drive data-informed decision-making across the product lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with defining and maintaining the product roadmap for 340B products, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, customer needs, and regulatory requirements. (essential)
  • Translate business, pharmacy, and compliance needs into clear product requirements, including epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications. (essential)
  • Partner closely with Data Engineering, Engineering, Analytics, and Pharmacy stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable product features and enhancements. (essential)
  • Assist with managing one or more complex product initiatives simultaneously, understanding priorities, dependencies, milestones, and risks. (essential)
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, refine use cases, and review product performance, including meetings with pharmacy operations, leadership, and external partners as needed. (essential)
  • Support product discovery through data analysis, customer feedback, workflow reviews, and regulatory assessment related to 340B, PBM, and pharmacy operations. (essential)
  • Assist in defining and tracking product success metrics, KPIs, and outcomes, including operational, financial, and compliance-related performance indicators. (essential)
  • Contribute to the preparation and delivery of product documentation, release notes, internal training materials, and stakeholder-facing communications. (essential)
  • Support ongoing product compliance with federal and state regulations, including 340B program requirements, payer/PBM rules, and pharmacy standards. (essential)
  • Maintain ongoing awareness of changes in 340B program policies, manufacturer restrictions, payer requirements, and related regulatory updates. Partner with compliance, legal, pharmacy operations, and analytics teams to assess product impact and ensure timely product enhancements, mitigations, or communications as needed. (essential)
  • Apply product management best practices and standards as products and platforms evolve; assist in developing and maintaining product documentation and processes. (essential)

Required Qualifications:

  • Health care, pharmacy, or health technology experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, data, operations).
  • Knowledge of 340B programs, pharmacy workflows, or healthcare reimbursement models preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Educational Requirement:

  • Master’s degree required (e.g., MBA, MPH, MS in Health Informatics, MS in Information Systems, or related field).

Required Experience:

  • 3–5 years of related work experience in product management, healthcare technology, pharmacy operations, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting or managing software products within a healthcare, pharmacy, or payer environment preferred.
  • Experience translating business and regulatory requirements into product or technical requirements.
  • Comfort working with data, dashboards, and analytics to inform product decisions.

  • Customer Service: Ability to maintain a strong customer-focused mindset, responding to stakeholder needs in a timely, respectful, and effective manner.

Sensory Requirements:

Close work (paperwork, visual examination), visual clarity <3 feet, color vision/perception, visual monotony, conversation, monitoring equipment, telephone, background noise.

Physical Requirements:

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally in carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling objects. Sitting most of the time, with walking and standing required only occasionally. This role requires constant sitting, frequent keyboard use, fine manipulation using both hands, and occasional walking.
